All classes are now taught via Zoom. There is a sliding pay scale to help those financially affected by the current pandemic - please pay whatever you feel is right for you. You can pay full price, half price or nothing.

 

3-WEEK BEGINNERS ASHTANGA COURSE

Monday 20th April - Wednesday 6th April

A 3-week course designed specifically for beginners. Absolutely no experience or flexibility required! The course will gradually build up over the 6 classes and will give you the confidence and knowledge to practise on your own or join a class, not to mention a healthier body and mind.

Limited spaces. Advance booking essential.

ASHTANGA IMPROVERS

Saturdays | 9:30-10:45am

A 75-minute class for those wanting to deepen their ashtanga practice and explore more of the Primary Series. We'll work on some of the more challenging poses and transitions, as well as dipping into some areas of yoga philosophy and theory.

This is for students practising ashtanga for 6 months or more and fairly familiar with the 1st half of the Primary Series (you don't need to be able to do all of the poses!)

MORNING QUICKIE

Mondays | 7:30-8:15/8:30am

Not too much fuss, just a straight-forward flow through a selection of the Primary Series to start the week with a strong body and mind. Mixed level class - I'll teach modifications for beginners but if you know the full pose, go for it. 45 mins or 1 hr - you choose. I'll let you know after 40 mins so you can take an early savasana if needed.

 

STUDIO CLASSES

These classes are still on Zoom but are hosted by yoga studios I usually teach at, so booking and payment is slightly different. Details in class descriptions below.

ASHTANGA FOUNDATIONS WITH SHANTI BEE

Wednesdays | 5:45-6:45pm

A mid-week reset. We'll spend a bit longer breaking down postures from the first half of the Primary Series. Suitable for beginners, those wanting a slower-paced ashtanga, or those wanting to focus on the foundations.

ASHTANGA WITH THE MODERN YOGA

Fridays | 6:30-7:30pm

A strong class to end the week and start the weekend! We'll work through the Primary Series, with different poses included and omitted each week to get a feel for the full sequence. Mixed level class, however some prior experience of ashtanga is best.

Booking and payment via MindBody. £7 per household.

FAMILY YOGA WITH THE MODERN YOGA

BACK SOON!

A fun class for all the family! We'll use yoga poses to tell a story, stretch our body and focus our minds, before ending with some calming breathing and relaxation time. Aimed at kids aged 4-10 and their grown-ups but younger or older kids are welcome to join too.
